Saile and his 7 siblings were rescued from a terrible situation. The puppies and their mom had been severely neglected when a concerned neighbor notified one of our volunteers. The dogs were not being fed properly and not provided water on a regular basis. These poor things were left starving and dehydrated for days at a time.The only shelter they had from the relentless Florida weather was underneath an old semi trailer. The neighbor agreed to work with the owner to try to get the puppies out of the ill-fated environment. After a 3 month long process, the Judy team was success in the rescue of all 8 puppies and their parents.  They have been responding very well to their crate training. Saile is a cuddle muffin and loves to give kisses. He was the first of the puppies to show affection to people. He is has shown to be the most trusting of the pups.

Foster Update:  Saile is doing great! He is such a sweetheart. Still a little shy but I am working on socializing him as much as I can. He is not a big barker and he is just learning how to play fetch. I have been working on house training him, he isn't doing so bad! Today he was funny, he finished his water, dragged the bowl into the middle of the bathroom and stood over the bowl and peed directly in it!! Very odd but hilarious! He slept in bed with me last night and cuddled up next to my leg. He definitely is a good pup and should be adopted in no time!

Foster Update:  Saile has now learned the sit command and paw command. He is still very timid around new people but he warms up quickly. He is definitely a cuddler at night! He is house trained now and the only thing that he has trouble with is walking on a leash, he is very scared of being walked when there are cars around.  Really a great dog!

Foster Update:  Saile is doing great! He went home with me for the holidays and he really did well! He became a lot more social and playful. He loves running around and playing with you but also loves his downtime napping inside. He's great on long car rides and doesn't make a sound. He gets along with every dog he's met so far and they all seem to like him. He tends to favor females more so than males but once you spend enough time with him he gets more comfortable with men. Still needs a little leash training though, he's very shy.
