Waylon
We want you to know that Waylon is the perfect dog for us. We have renamed him, his new name is Walker as that is all he did the first day we brought him home!!! He is responding to his new name well. His crate is in the bedroom with us, we have baby gates around the house so he can be in the same room, see us, get used to our routine and see there is no drama, plus there is always a space for him to feel safe.
I see him watch our other dog Brandi. She is so calm, takes treats and is teaching him the ropes. Today we established him with our vet as a new patient (Lake Mary Vet). I know pretty soon he will realize that he has won the lottery, just like we have. After putting our dog down this past Thursday, Walker brings a new ray of hope to Vince, Brandi and I.
He doesn't know it yet, but new collar, harness and life jacket (for the pool if he is interested) are on the way.
Many thanks to everyone for making this happen,
Whitney
It's been a few months now and Tiffany is such a good dog. She and Dapper are getting alone well. She can sit, give paw, lay and we are working on come. She is 75 percent house trained. We go for long walks every day. We are so pleased with her. Even my vet says she has such a good personality.
Willy
Willy
was really nervous in the car ride home. We stopped at Petco to pick up his new bed, crate, toys and food. When we arrived at home, he played with us for a very long time (he loves to fetch). We also took him on three long walks. We tired him out so much that he slept through the whole night laying on his bed on the floor next to my daughter's bed. I worked from home today to give him a little more time to adjust to his new surroundings.
Willy
is doing so well, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to adopt him. I can't thank you enough. He is a wonderfully sweet and well mannered pup.
Willy
loves to play in the back yard, and he currently demands a lot of our attention inside the house. He loves to take long walks. He is very rough on his toys - he has destroyed several, including a couple of the heavy duty toys. Other than that, he is doing pretty awesome. He is already a beloved member of our small household.
I also want to thank Roberta,
Willy
's foster. She was very helpful and patient to answer all of our questions at the pet rescue office. I am copying her on this e-mail to provide
Willy
's first progress report.
Thanks again,
