German the Declawed Tabby
Our new cat is doing just fine. He is the most lovable cat we have ever had!
We don't call him "German" however. In checking the paper work that came with him
we found out that German was the name of the staff member who brought him to the
adoption agency. We have tried calling him German and every name we could think
of and he doesn't respond. There was a couple of times he responded to "baby" so
that is what we are calling him. I am not a computer person but if I can find out
how to send a photo on e-mail, I will send you one. Thanks so much for your
follow-up.
Gali the Baby Jack
Lucy (formerly Gali) seems to be very happy in her new home. She is quite the cuddler and loves to be close. She also is learning to sit, release her ball/toys during play and has taken to walking at heel on the leash quite naturally. I think we really overtired her on Saturday, as she ended up falling asleep in Christine's lap on Saturday night. I took her out every four hours just to make sure she wouldn't have any accidents, and she did her business just fine. She did whine a bit on Saturday night, probably missing her siblings, but I put a treat in her cage, didn't make a big deal about it, and she munched on it and quieted down. I also turned on a nightlight for her, which also seemed to help ease any anxiety. On Sunday, literally woke her up (!) at 430 (she really didn't want to get up at first, and I had to get down and pick her up to bring her out) and so today, let her sleep in until 530 when I got up, and she seemed to be a lot happier.
She didn't eat a lot on Saturday night or Sunday AM, but chowed down on Sunday night and this AM. We couldn't find cocoanut oil (the stuff at our Publix resembled Crisco) so we spritzed on a very small amount of olive oil with a mister, and that seemed to make her very happy. She was pretty tuckered out last night, and "slept in" from 11 on.
She also took to her new crate, bed, toys and surroundings pretty much right away. We introduced her and our bunny, and I think she thinks the bunny is a puppy and wanted to play. Bunny was a bit standoffish and thumped, and she took that quickly as he wanted to be left alone. She's doing great and is very playful, friendly and VERY smart.
Thanks again, Brian
Griffy the Lover
5/28/2013:
I cannot thank you enough for your help in my adopting Max and Griffy. It is amazing how quickly we have become best friends. I had a doggy door installed so they travel freely (and quite frequently I might add :) ) from inside to the fenced in back yard where they play ball and frisbee and run at lightning speed ! They are such great company. We run/walk/jog at least 2 miles together every night, so they help keep me active too! They have been to the vet and we decided to keep them on the trifexis for now since we are running the trails where the ground isn't treated for fleas etc like my yard. They are full of energy and excellent watch dogs also !
Thank you Thank you !!!

Gwenivere the Pretty Lab Puppy
Hey everyone there at Pet Rescue by Judy!
My parents and I adopted Gwenivere at the showing at the Oviedo Mall on April 27 and I couldn't be any happier! She adjusted so well at home and is even responding to her new name, Koda. She came at a perfect time for me and it's no exaggeration when I say that she is what makes me smile and laugh each and every day (and my parents appreciate the fact that she hasn't had a single accident). My dad's in love with her as well - picture this, I came home one day to find him lying with her on the floor singing "so this is love." I get compliments from neighbors and strangers at how well behaved and sweet she is; her people friends at the dog park say "she doesn't have a single bad bone in her." I feel like a mom with her newborn baby where even leaving her for an hour makes me miss her so much! Just this past weekend we took a little trip to the Florida Keys and she loved it! She ran around chasing Key Deer and loved the outdoors and being by the water. I love her so much and thanks to you guys who were so nice and helpful in taking her home!!

Gwyn the Lab/Collie Puppy
Gwyn, now renamed Molly (the Collie) by our kids, is doing great!!! She has gained 4 pounds and has been doing well with housetraining. She just got her last round of shots and was able to visit the dog park for the first time today, and she had a terrific time. Took about 20 minutes for her to warm up, but she made friends really quickly and is such a delight to me and my family :)
