Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Dodger

Dodger went to the beach for the first time!

Duke

Duke nka Banjo was adopted 3 years ago and came to visit us at Lake Eola!

Dean

As I promised here are the pics. Fancy Pets too excellent care and Dean was all nicely groomed. They recognized Dean as soon we entered and were so professional and loving. He is now sooo handsome.

He has been doing good and getting trained to do trick and follow commands. Is a learning process but he is adapting well.

Thanks once again for allowing us to have him in our home

Dolly

Isn't she darling?

Duchess

"Two years ago (Aug 2019) three months after losing her black Lab, my wife reached out to Pet Rescue by Judy. She found a Maltese/Poodle now known as Pixie that to this day still fills her heart.
I recently (Dec. 12th, 2022) had to put my white Lab of 13 years down because of seizures. Although I did what I needed to it was the emptiness I felt afterwards that consumed me. So although I scanned multiple websites I ended up revisiting Pet Rescue by Judy and found a 1 year, 7 1/2 month old Shepherd Lab mix. I filled out my application, added the medical records of our previous rescue Pixie and yesterday we were able to take home the newest addition to our family. Although her previous name was Duchess we gave her a name that matches both her coloring and warm personality, Raven. Raven played in the yard and sniffed the house expressing her approval then slept (cuddled) with me during the night. Although I am only 72, this morning at 3:30 am, she even accompanied me on my daily 5 mile walk. I can't describe how she is able to crawl into my heart but she knows the way. Anyone looking to both save a rescue and fill a void in your heart should review the Pet Rescue by Judy website and begin the restart on your life. You won't even THINK about looking back!"
