"Two years ago (Aug 2019) three months after losing her black Lab, my wife reached out to Pet Rescue by Judy. She found a Maltese/Poodle now known as Pixie that to this day still fills her heart.

I recently (Dec. 12th, 2022) had to put my white Lab of 13 years down because of seizures. Although I did what I needed to it was the emptiness I felt afterwards that consumed me. So although I scanned multiple websites I ended up revisiting Pet Rescue by Judy and found a 1 year, 7 1/2 month old Shepherd Lab mix. I filled out my application, added the medical records of our previous rescue Pixie and yesterday we were able to take home the newest addition to our family. Although her previous name was Duchess we gave her a name that matches both her coloring and warm personality, Raven. Raven played in the yard and sniffed the house expressing her approval then slept (cuddled) with me during the night. Although I am only 72, this morning at 3:30 am, she even accompanied me on my daily 5 mile walk. I can't describe how she is able to crawl into my heart but she knows the way.
