Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Moo

Mittens aka “Moo” is adjusting so well to his new home. This is him next to Marlow, the ash-gray tabby we adopted from you all 1 year ago. We can already tell these two are becoming sweet buddies.   Highly recommend giving kitties plenty of time to get used to each other’s smells before fully letting them meet. After about 7 days of room swapping so they could smell each other they finally seemed relaxed enough to meet - and they’ve been buddies since. Thank you for helping us find this buddy for Marlow and new furry member of our family

Monday

All is well. We are definitely in the throes of potty training but he’s making huge strides.

I’m working so this is his office bed. :)

Millie

Millie is fitting right in.  We kept the name. I connect it with hurricane Milton. Millie had a great eye appointment. No changes, doc is not expecting her to have any future issues. We just have to give her drops daily and monitor her eye still.   Millie is fitting in well and has lots of loving.

Margaret

Hard to believe I've had sweet Maggie for a month.  She's such a good girl.  Loves her walks, bath, naps, cuddle time, treats, playing fetch, and even likes the cat.  She is just the best and most loveable girl. I'm not even sure how I was so blessed to end up with her.

Margaret

Since my neighbor's mother's name is Margaret , she is now being called Maggie.  She doesn't seem to mind at all.

Everything continues to go well.  Maggie is such a sweetie.  She will fetch her toy and bring it to me.
When she is done, she will take it to her bed. Too cute. Of course, still working on the leash, but we'll get there.

She is so good, starting when we go outside at about 6:30 which begins our day.  She could write this in her diary:

..Got up and went outside.

..Ate breakfast.

..Back outside for a walk.

..Inside for playtime.

..Time for a nap.
