Description:
Lacy is a very petite Shepherd mix. Her photos fool you every time ~ she is only about 30 pounds and a very blonde. Her front legs are turned out a bit so her gait is a bit off. OK, people say she walks like a duck, but that doesn't sound very nice, especially for such a little lady. We'll just say she has a unique way about her.....

Volunteer Update 12/26 - Lacy is a very sweet girl - quite small - a very nice size. A "real" dog, but small enough to pick her up if needed. She was very sweet and gentle with the girls who were with me who were 8 and 11. The girls begged to take her home, but alas... Dad says we already have too many pets....

1/7 Update:
I met Lacy tonight. I went by the shelter with my husband who was going to try to straighten up the computer mess. We walked in and there in the corner was Lacey, sleeping on a big bed. At least, I thought she was asleep. But when I walked closer, her tail started to wag even though her eyes were still closed. I said, "Judy, whose that?" I didn't recognize the sweet thing from her photos. Judy told me that she is hurting from a lacerated leg and a broken jaw! The vet is so upset that Lacey is in this condition, as are we. Was she it by a car? Was she hit by a person? We don't know. She is so precious, it just breaks my heart....
