Taka is a six-year-old spayed pure bred Bengal cat. She is a very affectionate cat that loves to climb & lounge on her kitty condo. Taka loves to have her face scratched and is very social. She loves playing with dogs and is more than willing to groom and be groomed by both cats and dogs. Taka is very vocal and loves to speak to you when she wants attention or is hungry. She is submissive to all other animals and loves quite time with her owner. Taka is in excellent health.

Taka and her companion Ramius were surrendered due to children's allergies. They MUST be adopted together.

The Bengal cat is a fairly new breed, the result of careful breeding between the offspring of the Asian Leopard cat and several domestic breeds (Abyssian, Burmese, American Shorthair, and Egyptian Mau.) However, only the wild cat look is left in the breed, and they have the gentle, friendly temperament of their housecat ancestors. Bengals are extremely intelligent, and can be taught some commands. This is a very active breed that loves to be at the center of whatever its people are doing. They also love water and will play with the water in their dishes--or even try to follow you into the shower! This is a breed that will get along with other pets and children, once it gets to know and trust them.
