Cat Adoption App 2024

  • Pet Rescue by Judy is a non-profit, no-kill organization. Prior to adoption, all animals are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and vaccinated according to their weight and/or age.
  • The adoption donation collected is used to cover total cost of medical/care, food, etc. of all the pets we care for.
  • PRBJ is committed to re-homing and re-habilitating rescue. Our goal is to place every animal into the RIGHT home, seeking a forever home for each rescue and avoiding any further transition or negative impact on these deserving animals.
  • Adoptions are limited to the Central Florida area and are required to be 21 years or older with stable employment/finances.
  • Applicants need be the owner of the home or listed on the rental/lease agreement.  Please note that we verify approval with landlord/pet agreement before proceeding with an adoption interest.
  • Please be aware of any pet restrictions in your community, HOA, or rental policy before applying.
  • All current pets (dogs/cats) must be up to date on vaccinations and spay/neutered unless there is a verifiable medical reason.
  • Please consider adopting an older cat as the kitten stage is temporary...they become teenagers and adults very quickly.  Adult cats and seniors are terrific and are just waiting to be adopted.
  • Please understand that our primary focus is to rescue animals in distress and assure that they are never put in that position again; therefore, we do not have a first come, first serve mentality.  Instead, we make every effort to ensure that we match the right family with the right pet.  We will be honest with you about your pet of interest and, in return, ask that you be totally honest with us about your situation.
  • Before you contact us about any animal, please complete the cat adoption application so that we can have some preliminary information. There is space at the end for any questions. After we receive your form, we will contact you to answer your questions, discuss your compatibility, and hopefully set up a meeting with your future pet!
