Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Lenox the Love Bug

Hello everyone, Lenox has been so wonderful! If another like him shows up, I'm sure we'll be knocking at your door to adopt! Please do keep up the great work. Lenox is so happy and we love him so. He and Maya get along great. Here is a pic of sweet Lenox and Maya cuddling for TV time. :-)

Lenox the Love Bug

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to send a Lenox the Love Bug update. He’s still happy as ever. He’s an old boy now who’s almost blind, but he is still happy playing with his toys, sitting on everyone and giving hugs.

Scott and I still can’t believe no one wanted him. He’s the best.

Maya has passed on, but Lenox now has two little brothers who are also shar pei rescues. They are named Castor and Pollux and were surrendered near St. Petersburg. They play and look up to old Lenox .

We hope you are all well. Keep up the good work and do let us know if you need help with any sharpei that come in.

Tony and Scott

Lenox the Love Bug

Hi Judy. Here’s another picture of Lenox . He’s still happy, healthy, and super loved. Keep up the great work - and let us know of any Peis that come your way!  Tony and Scot

Lenox the Love Bug

Here’s our sweet Lenox who adopted us 4 years ago. He’s now a blind old boy, but he’s happy as can be. Lenox gives great big snootz kisses! and snores on his favorite pillow. This picture makes him look tiny, but he’s a huge healthy happy boy!  Keep up the great work!

(It's been) 8 years since Lenox came home from your place to ours. If he was ~6 human years old then, it makes him 98 “dog years” old now. But he’s still going strong. Thanks for everything that all of you do to help these beautiful animal
