Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Cleopatra The longhaired Kitten

I thought you would like to know: Several months ago I adopted "SPOOK" AKA Cleopatra (a black very skittish young cat). I really had second thoughts as (if you remember) it took 2 people to catch her and put her in the carrier. She was so very frightened she had diarrhea on the way home. What a change a few months make. She has turned into a sweet, funny, but still spooky little girl....she loves to play and even tries to get the dog to chase her. She is happy, has the house to roam in and sleeps in my arms at night. While she is still a little skittish - she is a "blast" to watch jump straight up in the air and run for cover. We LOVE our little Spook (one spooky little girl).
