Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Please visit our Success Stories page to read all of our stories!
Aurora

"She has the perfect personality for all age people. Grandma lives 2 blocks away and Aurora loves car rides so she gets to see the Grandparents often.
We wanted to call her Stitch or Lady.
My family names pets after Disney characters
My daughter has Mickey and Lilo right now.
After almost 10 days of watching her personality she is Aurora. She is the calmest dog anyone has ever seen and she loves to cuddle and sleep. She does not like to go outside if the sun is shining. She loves the grass as long as the sun is not out. She loves to play ball inside the house and is VERY good at returning it.
It is pretty funny to watch our friends' kids or even my husband trying to get her to run. They run, jump and do everything to get her to run but she just enjoys laying there and watching them. She walks well on a leash as long as you only want to walk about a block or so. You can pick her up and put her on all fours to encourage her to walk further but she will just lay back down.
She acts like a puppy at times and has spurts of energy. The vet says she is healthy but she is a very docile dog.
My office calls her a unicorn and everyone who meets her wants her.
We love our Princess."
