Hello Judy,

I wanted to send an update on Daisy. Yes, we changed her name to Daisy. We wanted to name her to something that would suit her new life and what she is now. She now walks on a leash, does not poop in the house anymore, she tells me when she wants to go out and I hand feed her off my plate. Now, of course, she has her regular feeding time and normal feeding routine but, she gets any food off our plates that she wants. She loves lunch meat and her favorite is ham.

When I first brought her home, she didn’t recognize the smell of food cooking, she wouldn’t eat from my hands and was scared to eat. She would hide and cuddle up in a corner, trying to hide from everybody.  Not anymore. She sleeps in our bed every night with our other dog breezy.

She has her own bed, that she drags around the house and moves it from room to room, just so she can be next to me when I am in my office studying, in our weight room, or in the kitchen cooking. She plays with her toys and chases breezy around the house and for the most part, she is getting to be a normal baby. We still have some way to go, but time will fix her broken, scared, and hungry heart. I still have to catch her and corner her up to feed, walk, or take her to bed with us.

She now barks when we leave the room if she can not see us and if we leave the house, or when we come home J  She guards the house, like her sister breezy and she barks when the doorbell rings or someone knocks on the door.

Judy, thank you for adding to our family and making our life complete. I can not thank you enough for the wonderful joy that you brought to our life.

P.S. Halloween will be fun, she will be a Ballerina with a pink daisy on her dress and breezy will be the horse carrying a cowboy on her back J.

Thanks, again!

Sincerely,

Ed
