Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Glenn Close the Lab/Boxer
Glenn Close the Lab/Boxer

Today is the end of our first week with Glen Katie (we named her that in honor of Katie Hayes, a PRBJ volunteer who also works with my husband). We have certainly fallen in love! She is a very good and smart girl with a mind of her own and we think that is a perfect mix. She gets many compliments when we take her to the Vet and PetSmart. Our grandsons love her and she is very good with them. All is right and good! Thanks for your part in making this match! Best wishes, Lizanne

Gabby the Bulldog

Just wanted to let you knw gabby is doing fine. She is so sweet we have a vet appointment tomorrow and she goes in the create when I have to work with no problem. I take her out when I get home and sometimes she just goes in for no reason. She made herself at home sits on couch and jumps on bed to sleep at night. I haven't had any peeing problems she seems to let me knw when she has to go out. The cats get in her grill she just smells them and licks their face. Thanks again she is a sweet little girl and I did get that pink collar with some bling

Grover the Bulldog Baby

Just wanted to let you all know that Grover is doing great. His tummy trouble is resolving with the meds. He is loved terribly and spoiled rotten. He is definitely a great addition to our family. Thank you for saving him and allowing us to adopt him. Do you all have a history on where he came from and any relevant info on him? Thank you. Attached is a pic of our happy puppy!

German the Bulldog-Lab Puppy
German the Bulldog-Lab Puppy

Yvette, Thank you for responding to my email request for adoption. My family and I went to the Oviedo mall and completed the process. I am happy to say we are blessed to have a new member of the family. He is a joy. I have never experienced such a wonderful puppy. Continue the great work. I will follow up with more pics and reports. Respectfully. Mark

Gideon the Min Pin

Hi Judy, We have more great news to share....Oscar (Gideon) is now also heartworm free after using the slow kill method for approximately 18 months! Both boys (Gideon and Wishbone) are good, active, and healthy, it's a very happy day! As you may recall, Benny (Wishbone) became heartworm free after a year of treatment. I hope that others considering adopting a heartworm + positive pup will read this update and understand that these dogs can go on to live very long healthy lives. Thanks again for what you and your staff do. My boys, Oscar and Benny, tell us that you are all angels and that's how they earned their wings! Love to all, Rachel & Todd
