Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Grace

I adopted Grace now known as Jetta in February, today however we celebrated her first birthday I just wanted to let you know she is doing amazing, having the time of her life with her older sister seen in the photo below. From the moment we got Jetta, Jetta and her sister have been best friends - always playing and cuddling. I wanted to let you know that Jetta loves to play lots of games - chase, wrestle, fetch, and with the hose.

Greer

We adopted Lucy aka Greer in May and we love her dearly.  We have a Class A RV and took Lucy with us.  She loves the woods and camping. Here are a few pictures of her.

Grasshopper

If anyone needs a cat or dog i highly recommend Pet Rescue by Judy in Sanford. She rarely says no to taking in animals and is very thorough with her applicants to make sure each pet gets a great home. Thank you Judy’s for our little Hurley! (Formerly known as Grass Hopper)

Gem

Hello amazing staff at PRBJ!

Its been almost 2 weeks since beautiful Gem came into our lives and we couldn't be more blessed to have her. She brings us so much joy, love and appreciation every day. She is such a well behaved girl who is indeed the "velcro dog" you described. We renamed her Kona Gem once she was officially adopted because she just seemed like a "Kona" to us. Kona is the Hawaiian name for "Lady" and she is just that; A perfect lady dog!
Thank you all again for taking her in, nursing her to good health and fostering her while she gave birth to 6 adorable puppies. I am in touch with her former Foster who is so sweet to send me pictures with her newborn pups. She's such a beautiful mother!
Kona has been having fun playing with my 2 boys and taking turns sleeping in their bed each night. She attends baseball practice & games with us, has gone out to Celery City and the Hungry Bison for dinner and loves to be at our side wherever we are! Needless to say, she's right at home now.
On behalf of all of us, Mike, Ann, Jakob and Dyan, Thank YOU! We love our Kona Gem

Gloria

Hi,

Just wanted to send you some updated pictures of our Gloria , we have had her for well over a year now and she is just the best girl! We lover her so much and she loves us. She fits perfectly into our family. I hope these pictures come out for you. Gloria loves to cuddle on our beds and get belly rubs and then she loves chillin in her recliner and of course play time is always fun.

Gloria had her 1 year check up in January and she is no longer heart worm positive.  The slow kill method worked and we are so gratful for that.

Thank you so much!
