Description:

ZoeThis puppy was brought to us with their mother and her sister as well as her puppies  also. Pearl the mom, can be seen on our website unless wwe have already found her a home.

Foster Update: Yazman is a sweet loving girl. She is the largest of the litter. She  is a Brindle in her coloring and  markings with white down center of her face. She has a blue eye and a brown eye. This is characteristic of the Catahula breed. She  is a mix of Jack Russell/ Catahula mix. She is a really sweet girl who seems to assess people .She will look you over before she comes to you. She is doing well with our dogs . We do not have a cat.

She is fed Puppy Pedigree canned and dry dog food. She loves her treats, These include Pup-Peperione, Fiddle Faddle and small size Milkbone. The Fiddle faddel is a rawhide covered with dry chicken. This iis found in Publics and Petsmart. The puppies will eat anytime and anything.

She is taken outsde when taken out of her crate. She always does her business. I cannot tell if she  is crate trained since she crates with 2 other of her litter mates. She is  improving . She walks well on a leash. She likes to carry it in her mouth. Potty training is a continual job with puppies. Consistency is very important.

Vaznum is a really sweet girl who will grow to become a great asset to any family for a forever home. She deserves to have a family who will love her and make her a member of the  family.

Foster Update:

Yazum is also doing great. She is an active dog who loves to play in the yard with her sibling and our dogs. She uses the doggy door . She has long legs and uses the doggy door easier than Sunni. Potty training is getting better. I have been paper training while they are in the house and they are unable to go outside . It has been pretty successful.

She is a great girl who will make a great addition to a family. Uses crate at night and often found laying in the crate. A great girl.

According to www.dogbreedinfo.com, the Jack Russell Terrier was developed in 19th century England by a clergyman named Jack Russell. This feisty little terrier was used to hunt small game, particularly fox, by digging the quarry out of its den. Breeders have emphasized its working ability, so the standard is very broad, encompassing a wide range of accepted body types. On English hunts, the Jack Russell Terriers were supposed to be long-legged enough to keep up with the hounds. The energetic and playful Jack Russell makes a good family companion. The Jack Russell Terrier is a perky, merry, devoted, and loving dog. Spirited and obedient, yet absolutely fearless. Careful and amusing, he enjoys games and playing with toys. Friendly and generally kind to children who have been taught not to tease or strike the dog. They are intelligent, yet willful and determined. They have strong hunting instincts (stronger than your average terrier) and should not be trusted with other small animals. They like to chase and explore. Be careful not to let them off the lead unless they are very well-trained. Jack Russells like to bark and dig. They tend to get restless and destructive if not kept fruitfully occupied and well exercised. Jack Russells climb, which means they can climb over a fence, they also jump. A Jack that stands 12 inches high can easily jump five feet. JRTs are not the breed for a inexperienced dog owner. This is a BIG dog in a little dogs body. The owner needs to be as strong-willed as they are, or this little guy will take over.
