Foster Update 11/21/12: Hi!  I'm growing into a gorgeous, silver & black tabby with the cutest spots on my belly.....& according to my foster parents, I am one little hot mess!  I am a healthy, bouncing sweetheart of a boy with a huge personality.  My coat is short, silky soft, & similar to bunny fur, I have cheetah-like markings on my face and a wonderful, charming personality.  I love to follow my foster mom around & "help" her with her house work.  When the day is all done, I must snuggle up to her & sleep under her chin.  Won't you please let me into your heart?

 

7/23/12: I was found in a bush all by myself & a kind soul brought me to the shelter.  Since then I have doubled in size & have the most endearing face with my big, "bug eyes" which is how I got my name.  I would rather be in your arms being coddled & held then anywhere else!  I give kisses & snuggle up under my foster mom's chin for a nap after I have eaten.  Won't you let me into your heart?

As a very young baby kitten, Bugsy was tentatively diagnosed with megacolon, a condition which some times requires surgery but other times can be managed medically with daily medicine and a special diet or sometimes it resolves itself over time.  Fortunately for Bugsy, it has resolved itself. His special diet consists of Nutro Natural Choice Kitten Indoor Healthy Growth dry and canned food. He is also able to eat his beloved Friskies canned food in the shredded and chunky variety. Bugsy is a thriving, normal, healthy and energetic kitten.
