Jace and his companion Everett were going to be euthanized at a shelter because they had a cold. Can you believe that? Luckily all of the staff at the shelter banded together to find a rescue to take their favorite residents. A volunteer heard their plea and took this bonded pair in! Lucky them!

 

Jace is super sweet and cuddly. He loves nothing more than to be in your lap, by your side, playing or cuddling. He's not too energetic so he'd be good in a lifestyle that doesn't have to be fast-paced. He'd be a great family dog! He's already gotten a second chance---please let it count!

This breed needs a lot of companionship and socialization to be truly happy. They can be aggressive with other dogs and should be kept on leashes in public places. Friends and relatives of the family are normally enthusiastically welcomed. Strangers can get no further than the sidewalk. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
