Unfortunately Whitney was born with a birth defect, not affecting her growth or happiness, but something that will require a special operation.  Therefore, she is waiting to be a little bigger to go to the hospital for that surgery.  We could use your help to pay for this special surgery!  Whitney and her mom and three siblings came to us from a high kill shelter when their time was up. Happily, all her brothers and sisters have already found their forever homes.

They have an excellent, reliable, temperament and are friendly, superb with children and equable with other dogs. They crave human attention and need to feel as though they are part of the family. Labs are easily trained. These dogs are watchdogs, not guard dogs, although some have been known to guard. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
