Description:

This beautiful kitten is "Turtle" - named because he loves to lie on his back and have his belly rubbed! he loves to climb on people including sitting on shoulders like a parrot, He is very affectionate and playful.

Turtle and his sibling ET were returned to us because of allergies. Would you please take them home together as they are very bonded and have been together since birth.

My new name is JazzPurr - I like to knead, cuddle, and be rubbed on my belly. I sleep in or under the bed. I'm a big eater and like my wet and hard food mixed with meat chunks or bits please, not a fan of pate'. Kids are really fun to play with, but I'm a little shy around toddlers because they like to pull my tail.  I haven't been around dogs since I was tiny. I've heard dogs, but not seen them up close. Not fond of loud noises like the vacuum. I'm an indoor kitten but, enjoys going out on a screened porch.  Climbing and scratching posts are the best. Playing with balls, strings and looking out the window are my favorite pastime. I'm mild mannered and am very close with my brother "Jazzy".  If you want a kitten cute as a button and sweet as pie, I AM THE ONE FOR YOU!

Volunteer Update 07.31.11:  Turtle attended an adoption event this past weekend.  He and a friend, Ripley, shared a crate together (see their photo).  They didn't mind the cramped quarters at all.  It's amazing that this once very young kitten has grown up in a shelter environment.  I'm certain he is yearning for his forever home so that he can get situated and not have to travel to event locations anymore.
