Description:

Chunk, or "Lion" as his foster mom calls him due to the color of his coat, is a spunky, active, leader of the pack little dog. He is very sweet, loves to eat and play with toys. He is very fast...Chunk loves to play with sticks and play tug-of-war. He has a beautiful coat and is very good natured. He does well playing with his siblings, and is a big personality in a tiny body.   A fenced backyard is preferred for this very energetic sweetie to safely romp and play.

He has shown a tiny bit of fear in meeting dogs larger than him and does take a few moments to get comfortable. He will share with his toys with other dogs, but if he has had enough of sharing his toys or even food, he may give a little warning. He does not do this with people. He should be with an adopter who can be a great pack leader.  Although just a little puppy, he is very smart, listens and takes direction well.

Chunk and his siblings were surrendered to PRBJ because the owner was not able to keep them per her leasing agreement.  They are all playful and working on potty training.
New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques.
