Description:

Jake, his siblings, and mom made their way to PRBJ from a high-kill shelter. After their long road trip, they went into a foster home where they could get some TLC. Jake has been attending events and doing very well meeting people and other animals. He would love a fenced backyard to romp&play in.

01-9-2024 Foster Update: Jake is the best puppy we have ever fostered! He loves everyone, including dogs and kids. He even tried to make friends with the neighbor's cat. He is house-trained if you take him out every few hours.... and best of all he doesn't puppy bite:) He just gives kisses and loves to be with people. He needs toys that are sturdy because he is still teething, and he is working on 'alone time.' He cries when you leave him but usually falls asleep after a bit. He would benifit from a fur sibling to keep him company. Jake would make a great addition to any family and is food-motivated, so he will train quickly.

New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training together so everyone uses same comments and proper leash walking.
