Super sweet Hailey and her siblings were brought to PRBJ by Pilots for Paws.... these wonderful people use their own money and planes to rescue animals from kill shelters and bring them to other rescues.
An Adventure with a PRBJ Volunteer
I spent a week with her in my condo and she was the most amazing puppy. I swear she has an old soul for her four month age. She does not bark and she does not nip. She plays well with other dogs. She needs to have a yard to play in and she will go potty outside. She loves water and playing with toys. She is a snuggle bug and just wants to be loved on but she can also be independent and play with a stuffie or chew bone.
She does need someone who can dedicate the time to working with her on a leash. She does not like walking on a leash or going potty while on a leash but with some dedicated training she will get there. She would probably do better in a harness or maybe even a gentle leader. I tried to work with her leash walking each day and she did really well around other dogs also on leashes but by herself she tended to lay down and not want to move and it rained quite a bit so dedicated time for leash training was tough.
She just wants a family of her own and she will be a snuggle bug for life.
Hailey is a little lover but a bit shy and needs a little time to warm up when meeting folks. She is simply a lovely little girl.
All of her siblings have now been adopted into forever loving homes and Hailey is waiting for her home, too. Loving and playful Hailey will be such an amazing addition to a forever family:) Families should go to training classes together to help the puppy learn the same commands and be a well behaved dog,
