Breckenridge, along with his mom, Aspen, and his brothers were found under a house where they had been staying for weeks.  The little family was caught and brought in from the cold.  It does not get too cold in FL but it just happened that we got them out of there a week before the deep freeze of 20-30 degree temps.  So it is only fitting to name this sweet family after Colorado ski towns.  

Breckenridge and his brothers have spent the last several weeks in a foster home and this is how his foster mom describes him. Breckenridge is really calm, very smart, and is the puffiest with curly black hair. He can often be found doing his own thing while the other pups are wrestling or playing. Breckinridge will join in for a few moments, but will often find his way back to you for some cuddling or to sit next to you and just relax. He is a good balance between being a Velcro type of dog, but also being able to settle in and be comfortable and confident enough to entertain himself or be on his own for a bit. He rarely barks and is quieter than the rest, but still loves to play and have fun. He loves snacks and munching on grass or sticks in the yard. His coat will need special attention because of how puffy he is, little sticks, and twigs and pieces of dirt can get caught inside his curls. He is incredibly sweet, eats well, and is a very very calm happy little puppy.
