Description:

Update 12/22: Chaparral and her siblings were all adopted into loving familes. Regretfully, Chaparral's owner developed a sudden illness that prevented the care of a puppy. Sadly, he surrendered Chaparral back to PRBJ knowing we would find her a loving home.
 Currently, Chaparral in a foster home with other dogs where she is enjoying the company of canine buddies! She is a gorgeous pup with inquisitive eyes and a striking coat. Her fosters say how sweet Chaparral is and how lucky her new family will be:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chaparral and her siblings were rescued from a high-kill shelter, along with their mom, Catalina.  These puppies are sweet, bouncy, and adorable.
  Their new parents will need to be dedicated to obedience, and socialization, and continue with potty training to ensure they grow up to be happy and well-adjusted dogs.
  We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training classes. Training classes are the most successful when everyone in the family attends so you all learn about your new puppy.
Hound puppies need a lot of exercise. They are generally working dogs who love to use their noses. If these kinds of dogs do not get the exercise they need, they tend to take out their frustration on your furniture and shoes.
If you would like to meet Chaparral, please fill out an adoption application on our website and an adoption team member will be in touch with you via email.
