Summer Camp!!    Rocco is one lucky pup!  He is attending Camp Doglando - a fabulous summer camp for kids and rescue dogs.  Dogs are learning basic obedience, crate training, socialization and so much more!  It is such a fun time for kids and dogs!  Rocco will have a great head start in training and is ready to join your family!!  

6/20 staff update: Rocco has played with the other dogs at Judy's house and loves to romp with Jesse James...they even snuggle and sleep together :) Judy has worked with Rocco on sharing water and food with the other dogs. Rocco needs an active family with another large, active dog; no small children please as he is very big and bouncy. He does need leash walking but will be a GREAT part of the family!


5/29 FOSTER UPDATE! Rocco has been with me for about 3 weeks and has been a good boy. He has learned to sit, shake and he is completely housetrained. He has also begun to learn other basic commands as well but has taken longer to become familiar with them. Rocco loves attention, affection and the outdoors. He loves to just hang out outside or run around in the yard. He enjoys being brushed, although he does shed as much as you would expect for a longer haired dog. When we go on walks, he walks well on his leash is not too boisterous when we have passersby. Rocco would do great with anyone that would call him their family and give him the love and attention he desires.

This absolutely gorgeous boy is full of energy, boisterous happiness and love and needs to have a 6-foot fenced backyard to burn off all of that exuberance. He is a perfect match for an active family....do you run or jog?.....Roco would love to be your exercise buddy!!!

Roco, is a sweet and happy boy. He is a large and energetic boy who would benefit from a professional trainer. Rico has made such good progress on walking properly on leash, not jumping on you for attention, and not mouthing when he meets people. His ideal family would include him in outdoor activities, such as jogging or biking to use up his energy!
