Description:

foster update 11/20:  Gus has done well in our home with our 4 dogs and another foster dog. No issues of fighting or biting. He found his rank in the pack. We have a 4 month old kitten and even though the kitten puffed up Gus he just ignored the kitten. Has been good with my grandkids also (7 and 4) who have been used to being around dogs all their lives and used to having fosters and knowing how to give dogs space and be kind.

UPDATE ON GUS 11/18/2021: GUS THE ESCAPE ARTIST:

Gus was surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy from his owners because he is an escape artist.   He will dig in the backyard and get out.   Gus is a sweetheart, he is housetrained, good with our other dogs at the rescue, shy at times, and playful  Gus should be leashed walked for his safety, or in the yard he should be supervised at all times.
Gus was first surrendered to another shelter where his previous owners told them if a new home was not found for Gus, they would take him to be put to sleep:(
The shelter called PRBJ knew we would find him a loving home. So, we have saved this sweet boy from being put down  because someone did not want him anymore.
So far we know that Gus is an absolute love and doesn't mind being held either.
