Kachina is a beautiful Welsh Corgi Blend who is almost 8 years old.  Her owner was not able to care for her any longer due to her own personal health.    Kachina was her life.   They were together always and the bond they had was amazing.   They depended on each other.  

Kachina would do best in a home with anothe older, more sedate dog if another dog is in the home.

Her previous owner told us that Kachina knows all commands, very smart, won't run off, she learns very well.  She is food assertive and likes bananas... actually she likes everything.   She is good with cats and will try to get into litter box if she can.  She is like a velcro dog will stay by your side 24/7, especially if you don't feel well. All Kachina wants to do is to please you.

She is housetrained, good with other dog and cats and children. She does not how to play ball, but will play tug with you. She loves to hold her stuffed animal and special blankie in her mouth. Kachina is also not a fan of thunderstorms. When a storm came, Kachina's owner would always take her blankey and cover her up.  

Kachina is not adventrous, she is very sheltered and she loves to sit and sleep with you and her blankie. She is not a fan of walks.   She is a good watch dog and will bark when she hears something.

Before she was surrendered, her mom wrote a note to Kachina's new owners and Pet Rescue by Judy and said, "Best Dog Ever-Please find someone to love and care for her, she sure deserves it!!" 

Since Kachina has always lived with a single older lady a quiet home would be best.  Also, when she plays with you she will growl, but would never bite.

We are treating Kachina now for a skin issue and all paperwork will be availble to applicants.

Her previous owner would also be availabe to speak to the lucky future family of Kachina.
