Theo is a senior dog who suffers from some anxiety and cannot be left alone.  Unfortunately, he was returned to PRBJ after living with a family for 2 years.  Dynamics changed for the family, and Theo had to be left for a few hours, during which time he would break out of his crate or room and destroy the house and hurt himself.  The family was not worried about their house, but they were worried about keeping Theo safe which they felt that they could no longer do.

Theo LOVES people but not other dogs, so he would need to be the only animal in the home.  Theo does well on car rides because he enjoys going on adventures with his family.  He does not bark much.  He does need an owner who can comfort him with storms to help him feel safe.

Theo’s ideal home is one where someone is home with him all the time to make him feel safe and to help him through storms.  He would enjoy a backyard to romp around in.  A home with a cozy couch or doggie bed where he could lay and live out his golden years.
