WHmmmm....what do you want in a dog?  Affectionate?   Loyal? Obeys commands? Walking buddy? Cuddler? Gives kisses? Sociable in public? Naps on the couch with you?  And she loves the water.  Well....you can have all of these wonderful attributes in one bundle of beautiful furry love called KARMA!!!!!

Poor Karma was dumped in a rural area left to fend for herself when, thankfully, a woman found her. Sadly, she could not keep Karma as she was moving, so she brought her to us at PRBJ. Karma came to us in rough condition and we worked hard to get her healthy and looking beautiful.

 This cuddle bug loves attention and affection and knows basic commands such as, "sit". She loves, loves, loves people, but has challenges with other dogs, so she should be the only dog in the home. A fenced backyard is needed for her to safely romp and play in. Karma loves to ride in the car! 

Karma is a very special and sweet girl who is looking for her chance at a forever home where she will be cherished for the truly great dog that she is. She would love to have a home with older kids and humans who are hang with her and take her on walks and activites.

 Foster Update: 3/8/2021:

It has been a full 2 weeks since we have started fostering  Karma  and it has been wonderful!  Karma  is the sweetest girl. She may be 7 years old, but she has the heart of a puppy. She is extremely cuddly and loves to give kisses whenever she can. She is also a great napping buddy! She is a pretty good listener. Whenever we tell  Karma  to get off the couch or to give us some space from the dining table, she listens after 1-3 times and sits next to us or on her bed.  Karma  also loves being outside and going for walks. She is good on leash; she listens to your direction when she is not around dogs. She is not easily tired out, so she would need a home that has space for her to run around or go on short jogs to use up her energy. She also loves stimulation inside whether it be with toys or games with treats as rewards.

Dog for a day 1/24:

It was love at first kiss! Karma is pure love - so affectionate and trusting from the moment we pet her. She is a warm and friendly girl with a fantastic temperament.  She was easy to walk on the leash and extremely well-behaved. Just saying her name was met by her full attention and eagerness to please no matter what distractions were nearby. She was a great companion who kept up with our pace from a slow stroll to a jog. When she saw other dogs she showed interest but didn't pull hard on the leash or make a sound. She was happy to get affection from everyone who approached her and always received some variant of "What a gorgeous, happy dog you are!" A highlight of our time together was sitting outside at a local brewery where she just lay down under the table, people watched and seemed like the most content pup in the world. She is super mellow with positive energy and I couldn't stop looking into her gorgeous, soulful eyes. Her name is just perfect for her.  Go see and experience her for yourself.
