Description:

Rafael was rescued from a kill-shelter where his previous owner left him because they could no longer take care of him. They said he is housebroken and friendly with everyone including children and other dogs (he has not been around cats). He is a very friendly & an active boy who will need an active home to keep him happy!  He is a little on the timid side when you first meet him, and he takes treats politely :)

From the short time that we have had Rafael at our center, he has been good with other dogs and our volunteers/staff. He seems to have a bit of separation anxiety and does not like to be put into the backyard unattended. He has gotten out of some our fencing, so he needs to be supervised in the yard at all times. This behavior may change once he gets comfortable in his home. He is a velcro dog and loves to be with people as much as he can.

If you are interested in Rafael, please submit an application online.
