JANUARY 2018 FOSTER UPDATE:   Victoria has made an amazing recovery.   She is a sweet and friendly dog who loves everybody.    She is not on any medications but does require special food from the vet.    She will need to eat this food for the rest of her life and cannot have any table scraps or other food.    She is housetrained and likes to nap.   She thinks she is Queen Victoria and would love to sleep in bed with you!  

We often pull animals from county shelters when room permits, on this day the Vet tech went there and pulled 12 animals Victoria being one of them. Our vet tech knew she was very sick and rushed her immediately to our vet where she spent the next 11 days in critical condition. She was diagnosed with severe UTI, kidney stones, dehydration, horrible infected teeth which she ended up losing most of them and required 2 surgeries one of which being an exploratory to save her life. This poor little girl has been through the ringer but has came back fighting and with the help of our great foster and wonderful vets this girl has gotten a second chance at life!
