Since I took in Gypsy as my foster over a year ago, she has been nothing but a pleasure to have around. She is very well behaved and greets everyone who comes through the door. She is absolutely adorable when she plays with her favorite toy that happens to be a reindeer I got her for christmas. She gets along great with my other cat, but I think she would be best suited in a permanent home where she can get all the undivided attention that she so rightly deserves.

My name is Gypsy, and I am the cuddliest, most loyal cat you will meet. If you adopt me, I'll meet you at the door, and chill out next to you on the couch. That's what I do with my foster parents now, and I think they're quite fond of me. I love to look out of windows and keep an eye on what's going on out there.  I've never had the heart to run outside, but I do think I'm pretty much the best guard kitty you'll ever find. While I love being at home, I do get a bit anxious at adoption events. There's just too much going on for me, and I never feel myself! My foster parents are super nice, though, and will let you come over and brush my coat, and we can be friends =^..^= And if you take me to your loving home, I'll cuddle with you all the time. Foster Update 1/5/12: I have only had Gypsy for a few weeks but she is an absolute joy to have around. She adapted fairly quickly when i first brought her home and  she loves attention and cuddles with me every night. I think she would enjoy having a play mate because she still has a playful streak; but on the flip side she would be content just having a window with a good view.

Foster Update 11/24/11: I’ve bee fostering Gypsy for a few weeks now. Though on the shy side at first, she certainly came out of her shell quickly. She is very loving and will let you know when she’s hungry. She gets along fine with the other foster cat and my dog. Gypsie has a play streak. She likes to run and play sometimes. It was a big surprise at first as she seemed very shy.  She is a jumper as well and likes to explore the rooms now. She has not ventured into the bedroom at night yet. I think she is still settling in and although she is out of the laundry room a lot more, she still doesn’t go too far from the living room and kitchen. Gypsy is litter trained and very loving. She would make anyone happy.

Update 10/24/11: Gypsy is such a LOVE!! She hangs out by the door in the free roam cat room at the shelter, greeting people with a little meow as they come in. She's a smart girl and knows that she will be petted and adored that way! Gypsy is a mellow girl but she likes her attention and love.

This sweet girl was hanging around her rescuer's house looking for food, shelter and attention. Now she is at PRBJ, spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations waiting for her forever home. Gypsy is a very sweet natured cat.  She'd probably be very happy to have a little daily scratch under her chin for the rest of her life!
