Scar is housebroken, enjoys going for walks...

He enjoys sunbathing, chasing lizards and squirrels.

Scar can sometimes take an extra minute or two when meeting new people and new dogs. He likes other dogs, but needs to get acquainted before he goes to play.  He has been around kids under the age of 6 and has done well. Scar is crated at night sleeps well do to other dogs in the house will be very happy to roam free.

Scar does have a bit of an allergy to chicken causing dry and itchy skin, so he is currently on a lamb diet but may do well with other proteins.

Bostons are sturdy but portable, people-oriented, and always up for a brisk walk to the park or outdoor cafe.

Left alone for long periods of time, a Boston can become frustrated. Throw him a ball or a toy, however, and he'll be more than happy to play with you.

Many Bostons are quite sensitive; with training, gentle corrections should be followed by warmth and praise.

Grooming:  Weekly brushing with a soft-bristle brush, a rubber grooming mitt or tool, or a hound glove will help to remove the loose hair.   Their sleek, fine coat does shed somewhat, though not a lot  Bathing is only needed occasionally.
