Carly *THE SENIOR BEAUTY*

Hi -- It’s been about a week since I adopted Carly and brought her home to live with me. Although I think we’re both still learning to be good housemates, we’re getting along great. Carly is, as you know, a very sweet cat, and I enjoy her being here. She’s eating well and drinking plenty of water. She’s used the litter box well since the first day she got here. And she has learned (or should I say, she has trained me) that a treat awaits her when she uses the scratching post. I took her to the vet a couple of days ago, just for a check-up. The vet says she seems to be in excellent health, and the vet staff clipped Carly’s claws for me as well. So I wanted to thank you all for taking care of Carly for the almost two years that she was at your shelter. I think her coming to live with me was a very good thing for both her and me.
